Our First Sunday

This Sunday was the first Sunday we ventured out of the home study and into our new building! We were all very excited and anxious to see what God is going to do. Wednesday our service times will be posted in the newspaper, and we are meeting at the elementary school here in town. It was a blessing to have the Shrewsberry gang with us to support and encourage this new step of faith.

Welcome To My Blog

Hi everyone! After much persuasion from sisters and friends, I am now officially a blogger. Our families desire is to stay in touch with those we love, and miss so much. We pray you are all doing well. So much has happened in the last six months, but I decided to start blogging from today. God has shown His faithfulness to us in amazing new ways, and has shown us that all we need is a child-like faith in Him. Our job is to trust, His job is everything else! We have grown to love our little town of Cave Junction, and all the sweet people in it. The kids are doing great with their new school, and have adjusted to our new life really well, thank the Lord! We love having my dad as our pastor, and are blessed by His teaching, and of course David's worship. We are praying about a building, and believe the Lord has led us to one, so pray for a continued leading of the Holy Spirit. We look forward to hearing from all our friends and family!

We were blessed to have our first house guest last week... David's best friend Brandon. We surprised David and we all had a great week together. Here we are at the Redwoods in Crescent City,California (where Matt and Megan live.)

This is the view from our front window. We were so excited to wake up to our first snow on my birthday, Dec. 13th. We were all outside at 7:00 in the morning, building snowmen, and having snowball fights. It snowed for about two weeks on and off after that, and we enjoyed every minute of it!
